Hardy Waterlilies

N. Darwin

N. Darwin is a hardy waterlily. It was created by Latour-Marliac. It's date of origin is 1909. It's date of publication is 1910. It is described as red with white stripes and green pads.

There is a belief that N. Darwin and N. Hollandia are the same by some. This is incorrect. They are two distinct plants, very similiar but distinguishable when grown side by side.

The first line of photos were taken at Longwood Gardens.
